Vehicle of Sub District Magistrate Karnah Hit by avalanche at Sadhna Top

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Karnah On Tuesday escaped unhurt after snow avalanche hit his vehicle in Sadhna top area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. SDM Karnah Bilal Mohi-ud-din was on his way from Karnah to Kupwara but when he reached to Sadhna top, a huge snow avalanche hit his vehicle. Soon after the mishap, local army unit launched rescue operation and saved SDM, his Personal Security Officer and a driver. However SSP Kupwara confirmed the incident and said all have been rescued.
